My name is Mrs. DeAnn Lax, and I am so excited to teach Kindergarten at Logos Christian School. As a parent who has intentionally invested in faith-based education for my children, and as someone who received years of Christian private school education, I understand the value of a strong Christian education. I have worked and volunteered in schools and churches as a tutor, mentor, cheer coach, praise dance instructor, and in admissions and development. In each role, I have made it a priority to know each child individually, meet them where they are, and help provide the support and skills they need to grow spiritually, academically, and personally. 

I graduated from Texas Southern University and University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication-Media Production and a minor in Mexican American Studies. My Master of Art and Science degree is in Communication. 

We are members of NDCBF, and I am involved in the Women’s Council and Impact Track. 

My life verses are 1 Corinthians 13 which I have loved since I was a child and as an adult, Romans 8:28 has become my life verse, and our family verse-motto is Philippians 4:13. 

I want to teach at Logos Christian School because I believe I am following God’s purpose and plan for my life. I am passionate about helping children grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally, and I believe Logos Christian School represents an environment where I can support that growth. I desire to create a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential while developing a strong foundation of faith. It would be a blessing to use my gifts and passion for teaching to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their families. 

As a wife and mother, I am grateful that God allows me to balance being an author who founded Royal Heir Publishing House and a podcaster. I love to create and bring ideas to life!
