  • What is Classical Education?
    Classical education embraces the concept of educating the whole child and the notion that children are more than their standardized test scores. Classical schools are unique among school choice options for three main reasons – a virtuous education, a content-rich curriculum, and a traditional classroom environment. Classical education is a liberal arts education rooted in ancient history. “Liberal”, in this case, means “free”. Classical education has five main points: They are grammar, logic, rhetoric (the verbal arts of the trivium), arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy (the mathematical arts of the quadrivium).   • What is the difference to Public School Education?

  • Is my child prepared for Classical Education?

  • What are the benefits of the Discipleship Model using Classical Education versus Public School Education?

  • What is the curriculum?
    At Logos School, our curriculum combines the discipleship process with classical education. Our curriculum is based on the inerrant, infallible and inspired word of God, with the Logos as its cornerstone.
  • How would you describe the curriculum?

  • Is the curriculum hard?
    Our curriculum is rigorous compared to others taught at traditional institutions like the public school system and other alternative educational institutions. The curriculum has a focus on the language for critical thinking.
  • Why Discipleship Model using Classical Education?
    A Discipleship Model using Classical Education creates a well-rounded student with a logical mind and a virtuous heart; that is the heart that loves God and its neighbor. It is built upon the best of the Western traditional canon through curriculum and philosophy which acknowledges current understanding of child development and growth.
  • What does a Discipleship Institute look like using the Classical Model?
    Whereas Classical schools are rooted in language with lessons primarily taught through written and spoken words instead of images. A Discipleship Institute model focuses more upon guiding the students heart towards God, that they would love Him with all their heart, soul and might (mind). A discipleship classroom emphasizes the authority of God, the advocacy of Christ and the guidance of the spirit. Believing that as Proverbs 1:7 states, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
  • Is my child prepared to be discipled?
    We believe that the scripture calls every parent to disciple their children. Therefore, the classical model as a tool being used in the discipleship process to assist parents in making disciples of their children would be a great benefit at the earliest stages of a child’s life.
