My life verses include Philippians 2:1-11 as one of my go-to scriptures. I love it because it beautifully illustrates the humility and love of Jesus, and it calls us to follow in His footsteps. It’s the initiating love of Christ that motivates and equipes us to engage well with those around us each day.

It has been my delight to work with children in many different roles over the years-as a mom of 6 children, a foster parent, a homeschool teacher, and an art teacher for 7 years. I was blessed to teach at Logos this past year and got to know all the wonderful students. I’ve also had the joy of volunteering in the youth group and children’s ministries at my church for the past 15 years.

My BS is from Baylor University in Interior Design and Business Administration. I am working on my teacher certification.

My family and I attend Dallas Bible Church. We are currently involved with the youth ministry and Freedom Prayer ministry.

I want to teach at Logos Christian School because I believe it’s both a responsibility and a privilege to help steward the gifts God has placed in each child. Christian education creates a unique opportunity to teach truths across all subjects, guiding students toward hope, purpose, and a deeper understanding of who they are in Christ. In a world that can feel overwhelming, I want to be part of a school that reminds children they are never alone.

I love to travel, try new foods, and experience new cultures.  If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to speak every language, as there is something beautiful about connecting with people in their heart language. I also love to read stories and can’t wait to share many with my class this coming year.
